Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the website.
Every effort has been made to reproduce colours on the site as accurately as possible. However, different computers reproduce colours in slightly different ways, therefore exact matches are not yet possible over the Internet. This means that when you order products, colours may differ from what you can see on your screen. Please also bear in mind that, due to their organic nature, freshwater pearls do vary in size as well as colour and invariably are not perfect - which I believe is part of their charm.
Postage and Packaging
All purchases are sent in organza bags as standard. Boxes can be requested when ordering each item of jewellery.
UK orders under £50.00 are sent using Royal Mail Recorded delivery service and charged at £3.95 per order.
UK orders over £50.00 will be sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery service and charged at £6.95 per order.
For UK orders over £100 in value delivery is free.
Postage costs will be refunded for local customers who are able to collect their order. Please indicate this in the 'Comments Box' in the Payment Section when ordering.
If you live outside the UK the charges are £9.50 for orders under £50.00 and £14.00 for orders over £50.00.
For Overseas orders over £150 in value delivery is free.
Customers outside the United Kingdom are liable for any customs/import duty, quotas, permits, product/import restrictions and other local requirements. Any such charges are the responsibility of the customer. If you are unaware of the situation in your own country it is always advisable to make checks of your own.
Your jewellery will be dispatched within 5 working days. If your order cannot be dispatched within that time, I will contact you.
Jewellery prices stated exclude postage costs.
At the check-out you have the option of paying by debit or credit card (you will be taken through to PayPal where you can select to check out as a guest and use your card in the usual way) or you can pay using your PayPal account. If you would prefer to make payment via cheque please select this option and make your cheque payable to Alison Furness. Please remember to include the necessary postage value. Orders will be dispatched when the cheque is cleared.

Returns and Refunds
Please bear in mind that due to their organic nature, pearls are not uniform in appearance or colour.
If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase within 7 days of receipt, Freshwater Pearls Jewellery will provide a full refund of the item. You must return the goods in the condition in which they were supplied to you and by Recorded/Signed for Service only. The cost of your item will be refunded but not postage costs. Please contact me before posting so that I know to expect them.

Bespoke and commissioned items cannot be refunded as consultation throughout the design process will have taken place.
If you wish to change the style or length of the jewellery once it has been despatched, please contact me to discuss options. A charge will be made if re-modelling or re-stringing is required, at the discretion of Freshwater Pearls Jewellery.
After 7 days goods will only be accepted for return for alteration or if faulty, at the discretion of Freshwater Pearls Jewellery.
You may cancel your order at any time prior to dispatch.
