Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the website.

Colour Reproduction

Every effort has been made to reproduce colours on the site as accurately as possible.  However, different computers reproduce colours in slightly different ways, therefore exact matches are not yet possible over the Internet.  This means that when you order products, colours may differ from what you can see on your screen.  Please also bear in mind that, by their very nature, freshwater pearls do vary in size as well as colour.

Postage and Packaging

All purchases are sent in organza bags as standard.  Boxes can be requested when ordering each item of jewellery. 

UK orders under £40.00 will be sent using Royal Mail's Recorded delivery service and charged at £2.50. UK orders over £40.00 will be sent via Royal Mail's Special Delivery service and charged at £5.75.  For orders over £100 delivery will be free.  Postage costs will be refunded for local customers who are able to collect their order. Please indicate this in the 'Comments Box' in the Payment Section.

Your jewellery will be dispatched within 3 working days.  If your order cannot be dispatched within that time, I will contact you.

Jewellery prices stated exclude postage costs.

Please email me prior to purchasing for postage costs to non-UK destinations.

Payment by Cheque

If you would prefer to make payment via Cheque rather than via Paypal please make your cheques payable to Alison Furness.  Please remember to include the necessary postage and packing value.  Orders will be despatched when the cheque is cleared.

Returns and Refunds

Please bear in mind that due to their organic nature, pearls are not uniform in appearance or colour.

If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase within 7 days of receipt, Freshwater Pearls Jewellery will provide a full refund of the item.  You must return the goods in the condition in which they were supplied to you and by Recorded Delivery only.  The cost of your item will be refunded but not postage costs.  Please contact me before posting so that I know to expect them.

Bespoke and commissioned items cannot be refunded as consultation throughout the design process will have taken place.

After 7 days goods will only be accepted for return for alteration or if faulty, at the discretion of Freshwater Pearls Jewellery.

You may cancel your order at any time prior to dispatch.
